for this year's Awards Banquet which is to be held, Saturday, Oct 30 at the Wabasha Street Caves. Do you feel a Ghoulish Gangster theme? Maybe a Costume ball?"

The Internet broadcast audience is growing as streaming media becomes more mainstream. According to a recent joint report from Arbitron and Edison Media Research, 50 million have viewed or listened to an online broadcast monthly and 30 million use Internet broadcasts weekly. But who is using streaming media, and how effectively?

At the May chapter meeting, a panel of Twin Cities streaming media producers and technical experts offered a smorgasbord of examples of streaming media, from medical training to "viral marketing tools" to online news reports, at a presentation which was webcast live on the MCAI-MN.org site. General Mills award-winning Champions Center conference facility hosted an audience of over 160 MCAI-MN members and guests. Eric Swenson, GM's Media Production Supervisor, opened the evening with a demonstration of "Champions TV," General Mills' multicasts and unicast streaming media network.
